Meet the Attorney

Thomas “Tom” Bowen, Esquire

Tom Bowen is both an attorney and certified public accountant and has lived in metro Atlanta for more than 25 years. Mr. Bowen is a graduate of Georgia State University, College of Law (97), and a graduate of the University of South Florida (BS Accounting 92). Mr. Bowen previously worked for several international accounting firms and early in his career worked as an adjuster for an insurance agency.

Mr. Bowen is very active with his support of education-related organizations and currently serves as a Board of Trustee for Clayton State University and is also a Board member of the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC), the Georgia agency which administers Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship. Mr. Bowen was appointed and later re-appointed by three governors to the Board of GSFC. From 2006 to 2012, Mr. Bowen was elected and previously served on the Board of Education for the Dekalb County School System.
